Event and Webinar Terms

Registration and participation

You may participate only if you register in accordance with these terms and, where applicable, pay the stated fee. You must be at least 18 years of age unless the event page states otherwise.

Seating is limited, and registration may close before the announced date. We may change the agenda, speakers, format or schedule.

You must behave respectfully. We may deny access to or remove anyone who harasses others, disrupts the event, shares unlawful content or endangers the safety of attendees, without a refund.

Event content

Event content is provided for educational and informational purposes regarding the use of the service and clinical management. It does not constitute medical, legal or tax advice.

Demos use fictitious data. Do not share real patient data in the chat, in questions or on shared screens.

Event materials are the property of JIVSoft S.A. or the speakers; you may use them for your internal training, but you may not redistribute or sell them.

Your data

We process your registration data in accordance with the Privacy Policy (https://live.jivsoft.com/en/privacy) in order to manage the event, send you the link, reminders and materials, and measure attendance.

We will share your contact information with a sponsor or co-organizer only if you expressly authorize it when registering or during the event.

Recordings and likeness

We will notify you before recording an event. At virtual events, you may participate with your camera and microphone turned off and use the chat; if you turn on your camera or microphone or ask questions live, your image and voice may be captured in the recording.

You authorize JIVSoft S.A. to use the recording and the materials you present at the event for educational purposes and to promote the service, without compensation. You may request that your image or voice be blurred or removed from the published recording by writing to support@jivsoft.com; we will do so within a reasonable time.

If you present materials, you represent that they are accurate and that you hold the rights necessary to share them.

Fees, taxes and cancellation

If the event has a fee, fees do not include taxes, which will be added where applicable. The event’s cancellation and refund policy is published on its registration page.

We may cancel or reschedule an event due to insufficient attendance, unavailability of speakers, or technical or safety conditions. If we cancel a paid event, we will refund the amount paid; we are not liable for any other expenses or damages arising from the cancellation.

Compliance

You represent that you are not subject to international sanctions and that no ethical, institutional or legal rule applicable to you prevents you from participating or from receiving free materials from a software provider.

Assumption of risk and liability

Your participation is voluntary. At in-person events, you assume the risks inherent in attending and must follow the venue’s safety instructions.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JIVSoft S.A. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY RELATED TO THE EVENT, AND ITS TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE EVENT OR, IF IT WAS FREE OF CHARGE, USD 100. This does not limit liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence or bodily injury, nor any non-waivable rights granted to you by law.

General provisions

To the extent not inconsistent with these terms, the governing law and disputes, force majeure, assignment and severability sections of the Customer Agreement (https://live.jivsoft.com/en/terms) apply, as do the country-specific terms of the country where the in-person event takes place (https://live.jivsoft.com/en/terms/countries).

We may modify these terms by publishing the new version with its date; changes do not affect events that have already taken place.
